Turkish Foreign Minister to meet Russian Counterpart in Belgrade




Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said on Thursday that he expects to meet with his Russian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, early in December, in the aftermath of the downing of a Russian SU-24 fighter plane over Syria on Tuesday.
Cavusoglu said during a brief visit to the Turkish occupied part of Cyprus that the meeting will take place on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe to be held in Belgrade on December 3-4.
