I SURRENDER HER TO FATE
In the chambers of my heart, she's the one, A love so deep, it outshines the sun. Yet, I must release her, let her go, Though she's the partner I've longed for, I know. She checks every box, my list complete, But a shadow of doubt, my heart's discreet. Once homely and pure, she used to be, Now, I fear the change, the unknown I see. Can I love another, ever again? The thought alone inflicts a lasting pain. For I adore her, more than words can show, Yet, I must release her, I must let her go. Unkissed, her lips remain a dream untold, Her skin's softness, a treasure to behold. In this bittersweet tale, love's complex design, I surrender her to fate, but her memory's mine. By Samuel T.
