JOY UNSPEAKABLE
Pain, a dagger that cuts through imagination's veil,
Deeper than hearts can bear, an agonizing trail.
We sought aid from the world, yet more pain it bestowed,
The more we yearned for solace, our agony only flowed.
Searching for love and care, our hearts in constant ache,
The more we reached beyond, the more our souls would break.
Love from afar, like fading morning stars, did dim,
Then entered Jesus Christ, His love, a radiant hymn.
At first, we doubted dreams, until He gave His all,
Died to set us free, on Redemption's wondrous call.
The pain we couldn't heal from the world's cruel snare,
He bore it with compassion, in His love and care.
The love He lavished, beyond what we could know,
Filled us with a peace, in our hearts it did bestow.
Now we're joyous, content, our hearts forever sing,
With joy unspeakable, His love an endless spring.
